LFCSC letter to board regarding Jason Cadden.

The following letter was given to club chairman Mr Jim Scott to be presented to the board of Leamington Football Club:

31/10/09
Dear board members of Leamington FC.

I am writing to you on behalf of the LFC Supporter’s Club committee and membership with regards to the recent dismissal of team manager Mr. Jason Cadden.
In the time that has elapsed since the previously stated dismissal, the SC committee has received overwhelmingly negative feed back from our membership.
Such has been the feeling of unhappiness and bitterness at the decision, and indeed the manner of relieving Jason Cadden of his post, that the committee has thought it only right and proper to formally record or member’s disharmony with the board of our club.

One point that has been raised, more than any other, is the anger at the seemingly unfair treatment of Jason Cadden given his 9 years of unprecedented success that he, with others, have bought to our club.
What, if any, efforts were made to avoid sacking Jason and what efforts, if any, were made to keep him at the club, all be it in another role?
Was Jason ever allowed to answer any allegations made?
Our members are dismayed by the total lack of any PR skills shown at the time of, or since, the dismissal. The feeling ‘around the town’ is that real and lasting harm has been done to the good name that Leamington FC has built up over the 10 years since our reformation.
Our members are also extremely perturbed by the lack of any real explanation submitted thus far by Mr. Jim Scott or any board members.
We ask the board to please consider the hurt that our members are experiencing regarding the sacking of Jason.
We hope that the perceived veil of secrecy that has descended over our club of late can be lifted and a more open and transparent policy will take its place.
We await your reply to this letter.
Yours sincerely
Mr. Lee Mathews. Vice chairman LFCSC.
